How much is this gonna cost? Is a question we get asked all the time. There’s two answers to it. The monetary figure of the financial investment required to achieve the results you want. and the mental and physical cost to your health if you do nothing.
Most people are only focused on the monetary figure.
We are not the cheapest clinic, we don’t want to be and lets face it.... YOU dont want us to be either.
Who on earth wants the cheapest option when their health is being discussed?
In the realm of private health care however, we’re definitely towards the lower end where a new hip will run you around £18000 or spinal injections and average of £5k for a course....
But in comparison to our direct competitors, like other chiropractor clinics, osteopaths, physiotherapists etc, we’re more expensive than almost all of them.
And we’re also one of the largest and busiest clinics in the county.
The initial financial investment in care with us could be anywhere up to £3k. This figure is entirely dependent on your health status when you come to see us. The healthier you are, the easier it is to improve your health further.
Some people just look at the figure on the page and say ‘no way I can’t afford that’ just as a default reaction. They see the price and immediately say no. What most people don’t stop to think about is the impact on their future health if they continue to ignore this problem. £3k now could very easily turn into a £15k surgery in a few years.
My job is to find what the cause of your problem is, and offer you the best recommendation possible to solve it. My job is not to figure out how you afford it. I will never change my recommendation to suit your budget. I’ll happily discuss other options at different price points, but my gold standard recommendation will remain as whatever option is best for you.
If you’re coming to see us and you’re on a budget, that’s fine. We’ll still be able to identify what would be best for you. If you’re on a budget but still want to work with us, then there’s a lot you can do yourself to improve your health before you even step foot inside our clinics.
Drink more water. Get 7-9 hours sleep every night. Eat a healthy balanced diet. Exercise for 30+ minutes 3-5x per week. All this advice is very generic, and you’ll have heard it before, but it’s amazing how many people don’t follow a healthy lifestyle.
If you can’t afford care now, that’s fine. Go away and improve your lifestyle on your own, and in a year's time your recommendation will likely be lower.
You also need to consider the impact on your health and your future if you don’t do anything to solve the problem. I’ve seen too many people come back to me months or years later and they’re worse off and the problem now takes longer and costs more money to solve.
If finances are your biggest concern, doing something now is the best way to make sure the cost stays as low as possible.
