Everyone that works at Team Peak views the care we provide as an investment in your health. We all get adjusted twice a week, and we all see each other's family members too to make sure our families also see the benefits.
But not all our clients see it that way, and that’s something I want to change.
We don’t try to be the cheapest clinic out there, we try to be the best. Which means the standard of care we provide is continually improving to make sure we can deliver the very best to all our clients.
But what does that look like?
That means that we have weekly training every wednesday. The clinical team, the myofascial team, and the coordinators team all meet in the Leek clinic every wednesday morning for two and a half hours of training. We go through case studies of existing clients to use each other's knowledge and experience to help solve problems. We practice adjusting each other to make sure our hands on skills are continually improving. We re-read training modules to ensure everything is still up to date and in line with the latest research.
What does this mean for our clients?
It means every single week we are improving, as individual clinicians, as well as a team. The care we deliver to our clients is always to the best possible standard we can deliver. We are able to use the experiences learned from previous clients to apply to new clients to make sure we are always progressing. By learning and practicing new adjustments, we can also deliver new techniques to make sure clients are receiving exactly what they need. It also means that every new client we see will get a gold standard recommendation for care that follows the most up to date research. It also means that the care we provide is standardised across the whole team, so regardless which team member you work with, you'll still get the very best results.
Why does this matter?
There's somethings in life where quality doesn't make too much difference. If you're buying a cup, then as long as it has a flat bottom so you can put it down, and has no cracks so it will hold your drink, that's all you need. It could be 50p or £50, it still does the same job. But the higher the stakes, the more important it is to be good quality. Your health is one of the highest stakes there is. If you're not in good health, everything in your life is impacted negatively. If you're going on a plane, do you want the pilot that's just finished his training, or the pilot that has 1000's of hours of experience and is also an instructor? We all want the knowledge and experience so we can trust we'll get to our destination safely no matter what.
When it comes to your health, it should be one of your highest priorities. You should invest as much as you're able to into it. This could be time or money, or a combination of both. If you're investing in hands on care, you want the best, the continued development, the up to date knowledge, the honed skills. If you're investing your time, then you want to make sure you're following the best advice so you can utilise your time wisely, and not just do the first exercise you find on YouTube.
If you want the best combination of hands on care and tailored advice, then get yourself booked in with us for an initial consultation, and we'll help you figure out exactly what your health needs.
