Accountability is one of our core values here at Team Peak, and as 2023 has just begun I wanted to share some of my goals this year. In the same way as I make sure all my clients are achieving their goals and pushing themselves, I want you to help hold me accountable for my goals too.
My big goal for 2022 was to buy my first home, which I'm very proud to have achieved. However I've not dedicated much time to decorating and really turning it into my own space. My goal for 2023 is to finally finish painting! I'm still in the process of painting everything white, so I want to finish that, and then start adding some colour!
I finished my 2022 reading goal of 30 books at 9pm on New Year's Eve. Cutting it close, but I succeeded! This year I want to push myself further, and set aside more time in the evenings for me to enjoy my favourite hobby. My goal for 2023 is to read 40 books. A little ambitious, but I'm also including audiobooks, which makes it more achievable.
My professional goals this year are to keep pushing myself, so that I can continue to support my amazing clients, and help even more people. I’ve recently started working with more children, with the youngest child being 6 years old. Working with kids is a very different dynamic to working with adults, and I want to learn more to be able to work with children even younger.
I also enjoy working with more complex neurological conditions, so I want to keep expanding my knowledge in theory and in practice. I’ve already worked with multiple clients with traumatic brain injuries, or post stroke, and it's very rewarding to see the changes that can be made with continued care.
For all of my clients, I'll be making sure I help you stay on top of your 2023 goals, so I want you to help me achieve mine too.
